SYSTEMS recommends and offers APC (Agreement on Periodic Control) or APS (Agreement
on Periodic Service) on all installed systems using the TraceTek leak detection
technology. This means a planned and systematic annual inspection/service of
all key components such as software, connections, sensors and sensor cables. In
the same way that we plan and carry out a periodic check of the car and assume
that this is crucial for operational reliability and stability in daily performance,
the same naturally applies to any technical systems. Systematic and
professional inspections are especially important for systems that will
necessarily have to have sensors placed and installed in harsh and technically
challenging environments. Regardless of system, technology or supplier any
alarm system will quickly loose its value and credibility with an increasing
number of false alarms.
